Summary : Earthwork remains of a large artificial mound, on low-lying sloping ground, varying in height between 1.0m. on the uphill and 3.0m. on the downhill side. The purpose is not apparent, but the siting does not suggest a barrow. Visible as an earthwork on air photographs.

Condition unchanged, a large artificial mound, on low-lying sloping
ground, varying in height between 1.0m. on the uphill and 3.0m. on
the downhill side. The purpose is not apparent, but the siting does
not suggest a barrow. (4)

A mound of uncertain date is visible as an earthwork on air photographs at NY 9956 7140. It has a diameter of approximately 21m.
