Summary : Four Bronze Age bronze axes from Old Cleeve are in Taunton Museum. They comprise an Early Bronze Age flat axe (accession number 80d); two palstaves (accession numbers 81c and 81d); and a Late Bronze Age socketed axe (accession number 82a). One of the palstaves is said to have been found at Hayne, which makes it almost certain that these are the same axes as those recorded as ST 03 NW 2.
