St. Decuman's Well, Williton, named after a coastal Welsh saint
and hermit, is in a field at the W. end of the church. The
water issues between great stones set on end, having a third
forming a roof. As the water runs down the sharply sloping
field it enters a series of stone basins one below the other. (2)
St. Decuman's Well rises in a small circular stone structure,
open on the N.W. The water runs down the slope into two stone
basins before being dispersed into a field. The features are
presumably of Md. origin but cannot be dated from visual
inspection.
