More information : A Roman altar, and a fragment of a pre-Norman cross, were discovered when pulling down an old cottage in Water Row, Corbridge. (1) The find-spot and present location of the altar and cross fragment would not be ascertained. Water Row has since been renamed Front Street which extends from NY 98836435 to NY 98936431. (2)
