Summary : The approximate site of Roman turret 21A, part of the defences on Hadrian's Wall. It is buried beneath a modern road.

This was located in 1935 some 80 yards east of the east wall of Halton Chesters Fort. (2)

The site of the turret lies under the modern road. There are no visible remains. (3)

The turret was located in 1935, 80 yards from Halton Chesters fort (4a). NY 9987 6847. The site of the Roman turret is under the modern road; no trace. The circumstances at the location are not known and the proposed site may be doubtful. (4)
