Summary : Alleged barrow - probable lead working remains.
More information : Mound or tumulus in Knucton East Park. (1) No trace of a tumulus was found during a perambulation of Nookton East Park NY 932489, but there are numerous industrial mounds associated with old lead working to which auth 1 may apply. (2) Barrows at Hunstanworth and Nuckton East Park, possibly referring to this site. No trace found, but there are numerous mounds associated with lead workings. (3) Additional reference. (4)
