Turret 28A, about 300 yds. west of Walwick Hall, was relocated in 1920. It was first described by Gordon (a) in 1727, as "a little exploratory turret of hewn free-stone, a little more than 12 ft. in length, something less in breadth, and about five courses of stone in height". (2-3)
There are no visible remains. (4)
There is no surface trace of the turret; OS position at NY 8982 7074 cannot be verified. (5)
