Summary : Remains of a probable Romano British native homestead consisting of a sub-rectangular enclosure with at least two hut circles.

The remains consist of a sub-rectangular enclosure with a well
defined outer ditch (approx 0.8m deep) on two sides, and traces of a
double rampart on the N. Inside, is one complete hut-circle, and the
probable remains of two others. Surface quarrying has destroyed part
of the N. side and interior. The site is typical of the small native
type homestead which in this area, are classified as R.B. Surveyed
at 1/2500. (2)
