Summary : Medieval/post medieval buildings are visible as earthworks on air photographs, at NT 8904 0881. The buildings are clustered in two groups either side of a present day trackway and may represent the remains of shielings. The buildings are rectangular in plan and are all of broadly similar proportions measuring approximately 12m x 5m. The features were first seen on the latest HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken 4th March 2015.
