Summary : A large Iron Age/Roman rectilinear enclosure is visible as cropmarks on air photographs. Only the northern and eastern arms of the enclosure are visible in the crop, formed by an intermittently visible circuit of ditch. The features were first seen on EH Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken 4th June 2013.
More information : A large Iron Age/Roman rectilinear enclosure is visible as cropmarks on air photographs., at TF 0177 1457. Only the northern and eastern arms of the enclosure are visible in the crop, formed by an intermittently visible circuit of ditch. The enclosure ditch is approximately 2-3m in width. The enclosure has slightly bowed sides and a rounded corner. The features were first seen on EH Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken 4th June 2013. (1)
