More information : A short double ditched feature of uncertain date is visible as cropmarks on historic air photos at SE4084 66221. This feature is aligned south-west to north-east and visible over a distance of 70m. It lies just beyond the Roman town wall (UID55220) at Aldborough and intersects ridge and furrow (UID1537406) and a broad bank that may be the remains of a Roman road (UID1537416). The latter two features are not visible on the same air photos as the double ditched feature so the relationship between them is not known. (1)
