Summary : A development of slab blocks with deck access built as part of a public housing scheme that used the Jespersen industrialised building system for construction. The development incorporated four eight-storey tower blocks consisting of 239 dwellings, two seven-storey tower blocks consisting of 60 dwellings and two six-storey tower blocks consisting of 50 dwellings. Together the blocks provided 24 bedsits, 107 one-bedroom flats, 181 two-bedroom flats, 50 three-bedroom flats and 20 four-bedroom flats. Construction was approved by committee in 1967. All of the blocks are now demolished.
