Summary : An eleven-storey tower block built as public housing. The block contains 57 dwellings, consisting of 19 one-bedroom flats and 38 bed-sits. The block was constructed as part of a package deal with commercial developers. Construction is of in-situ concrete frame. Construction was approved by committee in 1965 and completed in November 1968.
More information : The tower block was commissioned by Huddersfield County Borough Council. The Alternate Name is the name that was given to the contract for the development. (1) J. Gerrard & Sons Ltd.'s tender for the contract was £146,210. (2)
