Three deck access blocks built as part of a public housing redevelopment along Trafalgar St. The six-storey block contained 27 dwellings. The two seven-storey blocks contained 44 dwellings in total. The three blocks constituted part of Phase I of the redevelopment, which also incorporated low-rise blocks. Construction was approved by committee in 1966. All of the blocks are now demolished.

The blocks were constructed for Burnley County Borough Council. (1)

The Primary and Former addresses were the individual addresses of each block.

Rodney House was a seven-storey block; it contained 16 two-bedroom dwellings and 12 one-bedroom dwellings. Orion House was the other seven-storey block; it contained 8 three-bedroom dwellings and 9 one-bedroom dwellings. Victory House was the six-storey block; it contained 18 three-bedroom dwellings and 9 one-bedroom dwellings. (2)

Burnham Gate, Trafalgar St and Keppel Place were the boundary streets of the site for Phase I and Phase II of the Trafalgar St redevelopment.

The Alternate Name is the name that was given to the contract for the development. (1)

George Wimpey & Co. Ltd.'s tender for the Phase I contract was £849, 198 16s. 3d. (3)
