Summary : A sixteen-storey H-plan tower block built as public housing. The block consists of 55 dwellings. Construction was approved by committee in 1961.
More information : The block was constructed by Shoreditch Metropolitan Borough Council. The Alternate name was the name given to the contract for the development. (1)

The block either rises out of, or is surrounded by another low-rise development; it is not known whether this is part of the same building or contract. At the time of writing, one function of the low-rise development is known to be a public house. Tersons Ltd.'s tender for the contract was £403,000. This contract also included two other developments known as Block 6 and 7. Together, the three blocks constituted 91 dwellings. Blocks 6 and 7 have not been identified. (2)
