A multi-storey tower block of public housing, rising up to eight-storeys. The block was built as an annexe to the East perimeter block of the Byker Wall and contains 104 dwellings. The Byker Wall constitutes part of a redevelopment area in Byker whereby curving blocks of public housing, envelope and shelter other low-rise public housing. The blocks were designed by Ralph Erskine. Construction was approved by committee in 1972.
