Summary : A fifteen-storey slab block built as public housing. The block consists of 60 two-bedroom flats and 30 one-bedroom flats, making 90 dwellings in total. The architects for this block were Henry Wood and Partners. Construction was approved by committee in 1966.
More information : The block was constructed by Newcastle-upon-Tyne County Borough Council. The Alternate Name is the name that was given to the contract for the development. (1)

The design of the block is very similar to Titan House and Hexham House - two sixteen-storey slab blocks also built on Titan Rd as part of the Church St, Walker Redevelopment Area. The same architectural firm was used for both developments but a different contractor was responsible for this block. Cussins Contractors Ltd.s tender for the contract was £325,000. (2)
