Summary : An eight-storey balcony access block built as public housing as part of a redevelopment scheme. The redevelopment scheme also included a five-storey block. The eight -storey block constitutes 96 of the 120 dwellings provided. Construction was approved by committee in 1951.

The redevelopment scheme as a whole provided 14 one-bedroom flats, 3 two-bedroom flats, 21 three-bedroom flats and 82 three-bedroom maisonettes. It is not known whether the eight-storey block contains any maisonettes. (2)
