DESCRIPTION

A 17th century house on the site of a medieval fortified manor house with tower. A front was added to the house in 1784. The house is made from rendered rubble and has graduated slate roofs which are steeply pitched over the earlier part of the house. It is two storeys high and has a three bay front.

(NY 74481518) Warcop Tower on site of (NAT) Manor House (NR) (1)

Warcop Tower, Grade 3. Late Georgian on site of early house, roughcast with a slate roof. It is two storeys high on an almost symmetrical plan, with two old barns facing each other in front of the house in a cobbled yard, both of limewashed rubble with loop lights, one partly roofed with old flags.
