Summary : A linear bank of uncertain date mapped from lidar imagery as part of the English Heritage: Savernake Forest NMP project.
More information : The earthwork remains of a linear feature, possibly a bank or boundary of uncertain date was seen centred at SU 1960 6778 aligned parallel to the main A346, lying within a field to the NW of Brown's Farm. It is possible that this is associated with the Roman villa site (SU16NE 99) immediately to the NW. The feature was mapped from lidar imagery as part of the English Heritage: Savernake Forest NMP project. (1)
