Summary : Large bank of early 19th century lime kilns at the tidal head of the East Looe River, at Sandplace. Construction of roughly dressed and coursed slate with some granite. Two circular brick-lined pots charged from a South-sloping ramp on the East side. The kilns are linked by a central barrel vaulted passage.
