More information : Medieval or post medieval field boundaries or drains and a hollow or pond are visible as earthworks on air photos at TA2472 2637. The main feature in this group is a rather irregular field boundary or drain that is visible between TA2457 2639 and TA2496 2642. This appears to mark the northern edge of several blocks of ridge and furrow (UID1462888) but may well have been later than the ploughing. Two other ditches centred at TA2471 2634 and TA2492 2633 run perpendicular to this linear between the blocks of ridge and furrow. There are other probable post medieval drains at TA2497 2619. The large rectangular hollow at TA2465 2624 may have been a pond and appears to have cut the ridge and furrow.(1-3)
