HAWK RIGGS MINSE

Undisturbed copper mine with impressive hand-cut vertical opencut, with inferred Elizabethan origins. Small miner's hut nearby stands on the site of an earlier, more substantial hut. Later prospecting trenches probably early 20th century, and connected with Hellen's Mine.
