| Summary : Site of an alleged Bronze Age round barrow located to the northeast of Postdown Farm, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery. The barrow is known as Barrow 24 by Case. A resistivity survey has proved inclusive in locating the barrow. A field survey carried out in 1964 located an indeterminate rise which was interpreted as a possible natural feature. The barrow has not been located on available aerial photographs. |

This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case and is listed as Barrow 24. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. A resistivity survey proved inclusive in locating the barrow and any associated features. (2)
The barrow (Barrow 24) at SU 3281 8235 is an indeterminate rise which does not show on aerial photographs and may well be natural. (3)
