Summary : A Bronze Age round barrow forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery. The barrow, known as Barrow 36 by Case, is visible as a cropmark comprising a mound measuring 22 metres by 12 metres surrounded by a ditch with a 'waist' in the middle, and is possibly the remains of a twin barrow. Two pits in the mound could represent grave pits, excavation, or grave robbing. |

This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case and is listed as Barrow 36. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. (2) The barrow (Barrow 36) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3264 8351 height of mound 0.8 metres. Possible cropmark of ditch. (3). The barrow (Barrow 36) has been mapped from aerial photographs. It is visible as a cropmark comprising a mound measuring 22 metres by 12 metres surrounded by a ditch with a 'waist' in the middle, and is possibly the remains of a twin barrow.
