Summary : A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 400 metres northeast of Postdown Farm, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrows Cemetery, the core of which is located to the southeast. The barrow, known as Barrow 35 by Case, has been levelled by cultivation and is visible as a cropmark comprising a curvilinear mound surrounded by a ditch, which measures 22 metres by 18 metres, with an 'extension' on the north end which measures 5 metres by 15 metres. |

This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case and is listed as Barrow 35. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. A resistivity survey has found the ditch to have a possible diameter of 60-65ft. (2)
The barrow (Barrow 35) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3268 8319, height of mound 0.2 metres. Ploughed elongated mound. (3)
The barrow (Barrow 35) has been mapped from aerial photgraphs and is visible as a cropmark comprising a curvilinear mound surrounded by a ditch, which measures 22 metres by 18 metres, with an 'extension' on the north end which measures 5 metres by 15 metres. A possible pit in the centre could be a grave pit or the result of grave robbing or excavation. (4)
