Summary : A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 400 metres northeast of Postdown Farm, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrows Cemetery, the core of which is located to the southeast. The barrow, known as Barrow 34 by Case, has been levelled by cultivation. It originally had a diameter of 10 metres surrounded by a ditch 2 metres wide. Sarsen boulders were once recorded on the surface of the mound. |

This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case (2) and is listed as Barrow 34. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. A resistivity survey has found the ditch to have a diameter of 30ft. (2) The barrow (Barrow 34) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3266 8316 height of mound 0.2 metres. Almost ploughed out. (3)
The barrow (Barrow 34) has been mapped from aerial photgraphs and is visible as a cropmark. (4)
