Summary : Barrow 25. A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 450 metres southeast of Sevenbarrows House, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrows Cemetery. The barrow, known as Barrow 25 by Case, survives as an earthwork 0.1 metres high and 25 metres in diameter.
More information : Group centred SU 328 828] Seven Barrows [G.T.] Tumulus [G.T] six times Tumulus [G.T] (sites of) (1) This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case and is listed as Barrow 25. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. It showed as a soil mark when ploughed in 1951. Scheduled (2-3) The barrow (Barrow 25) at SU 3280 8253 is now under pasture and cannot be seen. (4) The barrow (Barrow 25) could not be located on the available aerial photographs. (5) A bowl barrow situated 450 metres southeast of Sevenbarrows House, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrows Cemetery. The barrow survives as an earthwork 0.1 metres high and 25 metres in diameter. (6)
