Summary : Barrow 15. A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 400 metres to the southeast of Sevenbarrows House, forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrows Cemetery, the core of which is located 130 metres to the north. The barrow, known as Barrow 15 by Case, is in a group of four barrows and survives as an earthwork with a diameter of 45 metres and a height of 2 metres. The ditch is 3 metres wide and 0.5 metres deep. A hollow in the top of the mound suggests partial excavation which probably took place during the 19th century. |

[see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. Scheduled (2-3) The barrow (Barrow 15) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3278 8268, bell barrow, height of mound is 2.2 metres and the depth of the ditch is 1.0 metres. (4)
