Summary : Barrow 5. A Bronze Age ditched bowl barrow situated within the core of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery. This part of the cemetery comprises ten barrows arranged in two parallel northwest to southeast rows. The barrow, known as Barrow 5 by Case, survives as an earthwork 38 metres in diameter and 2 metres high.

[see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. Scheduled (2-3) The barrow (Barrow 5) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3286 8293, a ditched bowl barrow, the height of the mound is 2.8 metres. depth of ditch 0.6 metres. (4) The barrow (Barrow 5) is visible as an earthwork and is as described above. It has been mapped from aerial photographs. (5) A ditched bowl barrow situated within the core of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery. This part of the cemetery comprises ten barrows arranged in two parallel northwest to southeast rows. The barrow survives as an earthwork 38 metres in diameter and 2 metres high. (6)
