Summary : Barrow 3. A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 270 metres northeast of Sevenbarrows House forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery, the core of which is 200 metres to the southeast. The barrow, known as Barrow 3 by Case, survives as a earthwork, the barrow mound has a diameter of 35 metres and a maximum height of 3 metres. The ditch is also visible and survives to a maximum width of 4 metres and a maximum depth of 0.2 metres |

This barrow is one of thirty six barrows listed by Case (2) and is listed as Barrow 3. [see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. Scheduled. (2-3)
The barrow (Barrow 3) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3264 8309, a ditched bowl barrow . Height of mound 2.5 metres, ditch ploughed out. (4)
The barrow was visible as a cropmark and has been mapped from aerial photographs. (5)
