Summary : Barrow 2. A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 250 metres north of Sevenbarrows House forming part of the Lambourn Seven Barrow Cemetery. It is an outlier to the barrow cemetery, the core of which is 350 metres to the east. The barrow, known as Barrow 2 by Case, survives as a earthwork, the mound is 35 metres in diameter and survives to a height of 2 metres. The barrow ditch survives to a maximum width of 3 metres and a maximum depth of 0.5 metres.

[see plan AO/LP/63/105 for numbering and siting]. Scheduled (2-3) The barrow (Barrow 2) has been identified on the ground and surveyed at 1:2500. SU 3247 8315 a ditched bowl barrow. Height of mound 2.8 metres. Traces of a ploughed out ditch. (4) The barrow was not located on available aerial photographs. (5) Earthwork remains of a bowl barrow situated 250 metres north of Sevenbarrows House and is an outlier to the barrow cemetery, the core of which is 350 metres to the east. The barrow mound is 35 metres in diameter and survives to a height of 2 metres. The barrow ditch is visible and survives to a maximum width of 3 metres and a maximum depth of 0.5 metres. (6)
