MIDDLE ARM BATTERY

A Second World War coastal battery with coast artillery searchlights located on the North Eastern Breakwater of Portland. The battery was constructed between 1940 and 1941 and is built of brick, concrete and iron. A field visit in 1983 found the structure to be extant.
