More information : 9 x anti-tank 'pimples', partly buried. [There may be more]. [Digital archive - Surrey Industrial Society]. 13 x anti-tank 'pimples'. [Ref: SU84/60].There are some ten anti-tank 'pimples' along this stretch of the lake, mainly overgrown. [Recorder spoke to local groundsman who stated that the 'pimples' had been placed in their present position towards the end of the war. They had earlier been part of a roadblock near the Waverley Mill Bridge or perhaps used across the open spaces of the fields adjacent to Waverley Abbey]. 9 x anti-tank 'pimples', probably not in situ. Three are totally overgrown. On S bank of lake of Waverley Abbey House near Waverley Abbey. (1)
