Summary : A World War II 90 millimetre searchlight which formed part of the Nothe Fort defences. The searchlight was constructed during the period 1939-44 and was built of concrete. In 1988 the site was destroyed by a landslip. Members of Weymouth Civic Society rebuilt the structure inside Nothe Fort at SY 68697877.
