MONUMENT NO. 1420397

A World War II pillbox located near the shoreline, north of Folly Pier Waterworks, Portland. It was constructed in 1940-41, is built of reinforced concrete and stone, and has an irregular six-sided plan. A field visit in 1996 found the structure to be in a good condition.
