MONUMENT NO. 1420395

A World War II pillbox located at the southern extremity of the Naval Rifle Range close to the Range Lookout, Portland. It was constructed in 1940-41, has a six sided plan and is built of reinforced concrete and stone. A field visit in 1996 found the structure to be in a good condition.
