MONUMENT NO. 1420394

A World War II pillbox located at the southern extremity of the Naval Rifle Range in sight of footpath no.68, Portland. It was constructed in 1940-41, is built of reinforced concrete, and is possibly six-sided in plan. A field visit in 1996 found it to be in a good condition.
