Summary : The well preserved remains of a Medieval fishpond are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. The fishpond is possibly associated with a priory whose ruins are located immediately to the north (SO 36 NE 6).
More information : SO 3732 6599. The well preserved remains of a Medieval fishpond are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and have been mapped by RCHME's Marches Uplands Mapping Project. The fishpond is triangular, 70m x 36m, defined by a single bank. It may be associated with a priory whose ruins are located immediately to the north (SO 36 NE 6). (1-2)
