Summary : Former Wesleyan Methodist chapel built in 1825 and later doubled in width, the chapel closed in 1971 and was demolished in 1998. Built of brown brick with a hipped slate roof. The front hall had a single doorway with round-arched windows above, a second doorway and window were added to the left in the enlargement and later a single central entrance was substituted. There was one round-arched window in each end wall and two windows in the rebuilt back wall. |
