Summary : Former Wesleyan Methodist chapel built in 1811, the chapel is now closed and an application for planning permission to convert the chapel into a dwelling has been refused. Built of brown brick with a hipped pantile roof. The broad front originally had two doorways with a larger window between the two, this has been converted to a central doorway. There is a gallery around three sides of the building which contains the original box pews, it is supported by cast-iron columns. |
