Summary : House, early 19th century, in the Gothick style and constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colour-washed, with a pantiled roof. It is of a single storey and attics with a central two storey gabled porch and two window front. The house was one of a series of buildings which were Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century.
