Summary : House, early-mid 19th century, constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colourwashed, with a pantiled roof. It is of a single storey with attics and a two window front. To the there is a two storey porch with a pointed entrance and a boarded door over which is a 2-light casement with latticed glazing. To the right there is a similar 3-light casement and a roof dormer with similar 2-light casement. The house was one of a series of small houses Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century.
