Summary : House, early-mid 19th century, constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colourwashed, with a 20th century cast pantile roof. It is of a single storey with attics and a two window front. To the right is a projecting 20th century porch to right. This building adjoins the rear of No. 237. The house was one of a series of small houses Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century.
