More information : Five sections of Roman Road visible as earthworks and soilmarks on air photographs between Ogden Reservoir and Denholme. These features are part of the Roman Road running from Manchester to Ilkley via Littleborough, Linear 633, Margary 720a. Between SE 0634 3124 and SE 0670 3163 the road is visible aligned south-west to north-east as an indistinct earthwork bank and the soil mark of a single ditch. Between SE 0700 3244 and SE 0701 3344, although discontinuous, the road is better defined by two distinct parallel earthwork ditches, overall width 24 metres, aligned north to south.
