Summary :
Garden House of Friern Hospital. The octagonal garden house is actually the exposed part of a water tower, the remainder of which is underground. The structure has an arcade with a seat that runs right round and is built of brick with a slate roof. Built at the same time as the main hospital in 1849-51.
