A miner's house for the use of miners and their families of Birch Tor and Vitifer Tin Mines. The building was a single-storey timber bungalow, L-shaped on plan with a probable porch on the north end. An archaeological field survey in 2001 recorded aas the only surviving remains of the building. The main building plinth measures 10 metres by 3.5 metres and the smaller section, which may include the entrance is approximately 5.3 metres by 2.8 metres. The remains were turf covered. The bungalow was extant circa 1912.
