Summary : Moated house constructed in 1460 with 16th and 17th century additions and alterations.

Mannington Hall. Licence to crenellate was given in 1451 and the
house was under construction in 1460. Built of flint and brick, and
pantiled. The main block is 3 storeys. Surrounded on four side by
a moat. Has an interesting interior. Grade I. The gardens are open
to the public from May to September. (2-4)

Hall and moat are in excellent condition 25" survey correct.
