Summary : A bowl barrow, part of the Oakley Down barrow group (SU 01 NW 19). Listed by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 108 and by Grinsell as Wimborne St Giles 11, it was described by RCHME as a mound, damaged by ploughing, measuring 45 feet in diameter and 1.5 feet in height. It was dug into in the early 19th century by Cunnington and Hoare (their barrow 11), a cremation deposit 12 inches below the surface being the only find noted by them.
