Summary : Landscape park and pleasure grounds to the Bishops Palace. The pleasure grounds were laid out by Bishop George Henry Law between 1824-45 and were continued to be developed throughout the 19th century and early 20th century. The park was first enclosed during in 1207 and was landscaped during the early 19th century.

The walled and moated precincts of the Bishops Place, date from the Medieval period and were landscaped between 1824-45. Features also include the Camery which was enclosed in the 13th century and formal gardens added in the 18th century, landscaped pools are also present. Parkland, covering an area of 24ha, has been present since 1207, later features include landscaped lawns, a moatside walk, amd a shallow waterfall. (1)

Pleasure grounds laid out by Bishop George Henry Law between 1824-45. The grounds continued to be developed throughout the 19th century and early 20th century. The park was first enclosed during in 1207 and was landscaped during the early 19th century. (2).
